iN VIDEO: Making music with power tools in Salmon Arm

Ever wonder what goes into constructing the world’s largest treble clef?

Look no further.

As you can see in the brief film made by Stephen Ingle of Single Shot Productions and is posted on YouTube, Salmon Arm’s big idea was a beautiful undertaking.

As revealed last October, the small city became home to the world’s largest treble clef.

Atop Shuswap Park mall, the treble clef stands over 45-feet high and is 30-feet wide and features the opening notes of Canada's national anthem O' Canada.

It’s made primarily of aluminum, was entirely privately funded and created by various tradespeople who live in the area.

It’s a welcoming symbol for the musical community that is home to the Roots and Blues Festival.
