
UPDATE: Highway 3 reopened in both directions west of Keremeos following rockslide
Highway 3 between Keremeos and Hedley is now open in both directions after a closure and subsequent partial opening earlier today.
The road was closed earlier this morning, Feb. 12, following a vehicle incident due to a rock slide, according to DriveBC, but has since reopened between Hedley Nickleplate Road and Ashnola Road, around six kilometres west of Keremeos.
A detour was available via Highway 5A, Princeton to Aspen Grove, Highway 97C Aspen Grove to Peachland and Highway 97 to the junction of Highway 3A at Kaleden.
