VERNON – Police are investigating a break-and-enter at a local motor sports store.
Just before 5 a.m. January 3, police received a call that an alarm had gone off at Four Season Motor Sports on 25 Avenue.
A pick-up truck—believed to have been stolen— was used to pull the doors off the business.
A 2012 Suzuki RMZ 450 motorcycle was stolen from inside the business.
According to a witness, the thieves were attempting to load a Polaris RZR 570 side-by-side into a cube van when it appeared they got scared off.
A cube van suspected of being used in this theft was located in the 4400 block of 16 Avenue after a concerned citizen phoned police.
It was towed in for identification purposes and determined to belong to a local business. At this point, police are continuing to investigate.
