Kamloops RCMP ask for help identifying smash and grab jewellery store thief

A thief in Kamloops got away with stolen goods after stealing from a store in the Aberdeen Mall.

On Feb. 26 at 1 p.m. a man went into a jewellery store, broke a glass case and grabbed the items within. He then ran out of the mall and escaped in a waiting black four-door hatchback.

The suspect is described as Caucasian with a thin build and in his 30s. He was wearing a black hoodie with the hood pulled up over a black hat, with a beige jacket over top.

Kamloops RCMP is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect. If you have any information, contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
