TV movie being filmed at downtown Kelowna fire hall
Kelowna’s historic downtown fire hall is being featured in an upcoming TV movie.
According to fire chief Travis Whiting, film crews had asked the fire department for permission to use the downtown fire hall location for a shoot for a few hours this morning, March 2.

Lights, cameras and film crews were set up around the historic hall, and a crew member said they were shooting for the film Vintage Hearts.
Filming is expected to continue this afternoon at the Laurel Packinghouse downtown, and around Kelowna this week.
According to IMDB, Vintage Hearts is a romance directed by David I. Strasser and the cast includes Gabrielle Christian, Cody Ray Thompson and Stephanie George.
Whiting said local firefighters will not be making any cameos in the movie.
