Mega ‘Slip’N Slide’ coming to Kamloops
KAMLOOPS – Get your bathing suits and water guns ready, a 1,000-foot 'Slip'N Slide' type event is coming to Kamloops this summer.
Slide the City plans to bring a large vinyl playground the length of three football fields to the Aberdeen area this summer, though a date has yet to be set.
The family friendly event will include live music, food, drinks, water and a large padded slip and slide down the middle of the road. Participants are encouraged to dress up and bring water buckets, inflatable tubes and water guns to get the most out of the event.
The Kamloops event is one of about a dozen Canadian events being planned so far this year and one of only three being planned for B.C. The other two are in Vancouver and on Vancouver Island. No dates have been set for any of the B.C. events.
