RCMP find new lead in pedestrian collision

RCMP are asking for help from the public in finding a witness to a collision involving a pedestrian last week on Victoria Street.

The crash happened between a 1989 red Chevrolet Cavalier and a 55-year-old Lytton man about 11:20 p.m. on Jan. 30.

RCMP have learned that there was a second vehicle following the Cavalier on the scene.

The second vehicle stopped behind the Cavalier momentarily then maneuvered around it, traveling west on Victoria Street.

While RCMP are unaware whether this potential witness even saw the crash, they are asking the driver to contact them at 250-828-3000.
