iN VIDEO: Vancouver first responders salute health-care workers with lights and sirens

There have been a wide array of community campaigns worldwide to show support for health-care workers and some a little closer to home.

Some Kelowna residents have been honking and waving signs from car windows outside the Kelowna General Hospital, and Vancouver residents applaud and cheer from balconies every evening when health care workers change shifts.

A display of support from first responders in Vancouver yesterday, March 26, was colourful and loud.

Members of the Vancouver RCMP, B.C. Ambulance Service and North Vancouver City Fire Department formed a convoy and slowly drove along the street in front of the Lions Gate Hospital.

With sirens blaring and lights flashing, the first responders showed their support health-care workers, who can be seen in the videos standing in front of the hospital waving as they pass by.

The New West Police and Fire Department also showed their support, in a drive past Royal Columbian Hospital.
