Dr. Bonnie Henry fan creates COVID-19 media briefing drinking game

Almost everyday for the past month, B.C's minister of health and the provincial health officer hold a media briefing that thousands have been tuning into via live streams on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. If you haven't already been drinking by the start of the media briefings — which usually happen around 3 p.m. — while in quarantine, here's a drinking game you can play.

A member of the Dr. Bonnie Henry Fan Club Facebook group posted the rules for a drinking game she plays with her friend during the regular media briefings from B.C. provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and Health Minister Adrian Dix.

"Please know that this comes from a place of nothing but respect and admiration for Dr. Bonnie Henry and minister Adrian Dix," she said before posting the rules.

Over a hundred members of the fan group commented with additional rules, such as "Every time Minister Dix says 100 per cent," and "If a reporter says, 'This question is for Minster Dix, and Dr. Henry answers.'"

It is recommended you rewatch the media conference at a more sober time if the details become a little blurry.

And while staying home is already important to avoid catching or spreading the virus, it is even more so after playing this drinking game.
