Police say there are no signs of foul play in the death of a 33-year-old man reported missing on the weekend.
Matthew James Olsen was reported missing from North Westside, a community on Westside Road between Vernon and West Kelowna. His remains were found off Westshore Road in the same community.
"While there is no evidence of criminality believed to be involved in the males’ death, the B.C. Coroners Service will continue to work on determining cause of death," RCMP Cpl. Tania Finn, Media Relations Officer for the North Okanagan RCMP, said in a April 22 news release.
His mother Shauna Olsen is thanking everyone who was involved in the search.
