Vernon RCMP want help identifying this woman
VERNON – Police hope sharing images from an ATM surveillance video will prompt potential witnesses to help them find a person of interest.
The video was shot at Bank of Montreal at 2806-32 St. Oct. 5, 2014 when the alleged theft occurred. The owner of the card told RCMP they forgot their card at the ATM after making a cash withdrawal. When they went back to get it, the card was gone. They went into the bank to speak with a teller and found out more cash was taken from their account.
The owner of the card shared information with police and on Dec. 8, 2014, Mounties were granted a production order allowing them access to the bank's surveillance video. They were able to grab still shots of a person of interest and would like public assistance to help them identify the woman in the pictures.
At this time, police are only interested in speaking with this individual.
If anyone can identify the woman in the photos you are asked to call the Vernon RCMP or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800 222 8477.

Findinga card does not say: Go ahead, STEAL from me! Scary that you would think so…makes me question your character… This is where one can choose to do the right thing and return it to owner WITHOUT stealing…or to become a CRIMINAL…

I once found a logged in card so cancelled transaction and handed it in…the old lady was suffering from dementia…

yeah I agree that’s the honest thing to do and I hope they get her cause it was my money she took.

I found a ladies card in this exact machine once, it was a couple months ago..she was still logged on and I immediately took the card into the bank, I would hate this to happen to myself! Hopefully they find out who this is!
