POLL: Do you think B.C. is reopening too early?

B.C. will announce plans tomorrow on what the next stage of pandemic precautions will look like with some restrictions expected to be relaxed.

While both Premier John Horgan and provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry have both been clear we won't return to normal for some time, the announcement should clear the way for many businesses to resume operations, also allowing some employees to return to work and perhaps some answers about schools.

B.C. has done better than many other jurisdictions in Canada and around the world, while also having some of the least restrictive conditions, limited public gatherings to less than 50 while many others were less than 10. The only orders in place were to close bars and restaurants and personal services while other businesses were left to figure out how to operate within the gathering parameters as well as keeping six feet of distance between people.

We're not sure yet what Horgan might announce tomorrow, but Henry said she could imagine many sporting activities may resume, even NHL hockey — without the crowds.

We know that our collective adherence to her directions are responsible for bending, then flattering our 'curve', so we're curious if you think B.C. is reopening too early.
