
Domestic assault investigation in Oliver turns up weapons, drugs
A 21-year-old Oliver man is facing charges after RCMP responding to a domestic dispute found a loaded handgun, brass knuckles, drugs and cash.
RCMP were called to an Oliver resident on May 6 in response to a domestic assault, according to an RCMP media release.
During the investigation, the officers applied for a search warrant and found a loaded hand gun, brass knuckles, illicit drugs and a substantial amount of cash, police say.
RCMP say a 21-year-old Oliver man is facing a number of charges, recommendations for which have been forwarded to the B.C. Prosecution Service.
