Search underway for missing Merritt woman

Merritt RCMP are asking for the public's help to find a missing 44-year-old woman. 

Lalie Honeywell was last seen at the Double D Motel, located at 1502 Nicola Ave. in Merritt at approximately 6:00 p.m. on May 11, according to an RCMP media release.

Honeywell is described as 5'3" tall, approximately 150 lbs., with short brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing jeans, a purple shirt and a pair of DC brand shoes.

RCMP Air Services and Nicola Valley Search and Rescue are assisting in the search efforts.

Anyone with information relating to the whereabouts of the the missing individual is urged to call 911 or the Merritt RCMP Detachment at 250-378-4262.
