Chiefs edge Eagles in Kelowna

KELOWNA – Back-to-back victories for Rutland’s very own Kelowna Chiefs.

Kelowna wrapped up a two game weekend with a 2–1 victory over the Sicamous Eagles.

Braeden Cyra scored both goals for the Chiefs, one in the first minute of the game and the other about half way through the second period.

Those were Cyra’s second and third goals of the season.

Jagger Bowles picked two assists while Captain Jordan Salahor had one assist in the match-up.

Scoring the lone goal for Sicamous was Matthew Maetche in the third period.

Up next for the Kelowna Chiefs is a Tuesday game against the Summerland Steam at Rutland Arena on January 21st.  Puck drop is at 7PM.
