POLL: Are you comfortable returning to team sports?
The return of organized team sports while B.C. begins lifting some pandemic restrictions — particularly for kids — is considered not only healthy for the body but for bored and stagnating minds after nearly three months of home isolation.
Plenty of precautions and measures are still being worked on for various sports activities, but a recent survey suggests more than half of Canadians are comfortable returning and want more time.
"Among those who regularly played organized sports or took part in group physical activities, 42 per cent said they would be comfortable playing again within a few weeks of distancing restrictions being lifted while 20 per cent said they would return within a few months. Twenty-seven per cent said it would take them six months or more to feel comfortable," according to a Canadian Press story.
We're curious about your thoughts on the subject. Keep in mind, we are not talking about spectator sports, here. Parents, players — are you ready to return?
