Universal Studios plans to reopen to the public in June with precautions

While B.C. and most of Canada is tip-toeing back to normal under the COVID-19 pandemic, it's full speed ahead in the U.S. as Universal Studios announced it is reopening in early June.

Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal’s Volcano Bay are re-opening with special safety guidelines during the pandemic.

The reopening comes with "stringent new health, safety and hygiene procedures in place. So, as we enjoy our parks together again, everyone will need to follow CDC guidelines and the recommendations of health officials, and Universal Orlando’s policies. Note that any public location where people are present provides an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed during your visit,” according to Universal’s website.

The parks are set to reopen June 5, according to the website.
