Kamloops traffic diverted following vehicle collision on Trans-Canada Highway

Two drivers were transported to a medical facility following a vehicle collision in Kamloops earlier today.

A vehicle was rear-ended on the East Trans-Canada Highway at 11:10 a.m. today, according to an RCMP release.

The vehicle was hit while stopped at a red light, and the two drivers sustained minor injuries.

Eastbound traffic between River Road and Tanager Drive was detoured via Valleyview Drive. Tow trucks arrived on scene at noon, and normal traffic patterns will resume when the two vehicles have been removed.
