Kamloops Blazers add defenseman to roster

KAMLOOPS – The Kamloops Blazers have added 15-year-old defenseman Conner McDonald to the roster for tonight’s game in Portland.

McDonald was selected by the Blazers in the second round of the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft.

In 19 games this season with the Delta Midget Prep team, he has eight goals and 14 points.

The 5’11” Delta, B.C. native made his WHL debut with the Blazers back on January 3 against the Vancouver Giants.

McDonald will play tonight’s game against the Portland Winterhawks and will be returned to his Midget Prep team on Saturday.
