Kelowna pedestrian seriously injured after struck by commercial vehicle

A pedestrian sustained serious injuries after being struck by a commercial vehicle in Kelowna today.

According to a Kelowna RCMP release, the adult male was hit by the vehicle in the 500-block of Harvey Avenue shortly before 7 a.m. June 11.

The driver of the commercial vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the RCMP's ongoing investigation.

Anyone who witnessed the incident and have not yet spoken to police are urged to contact Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
