Body found on Rutland sidewalk

KELOWNA – The body of a Kelowna man was found on the sidewalk early this morning on Highway 33 in Rutland.

The RCMP say the 32-year-old’s death is suspicious so the Serious Crime Unit is investigating.

The police aren't saying the man was murdered, only that that the death is suspicious and the case is under investigation.

The body was found at 2:06 a.m.

The identity of the man isn’t being released as the RCMP work to find and notify his family.
