Missing Kamloops woman seen near Armstrong

KAMLOOPS – The RCMP are concerned for the safety of a Kamloops woman missing from medical facility in that city.

Police say Heather Harris, 25, left the facility without completing her treatment. They are concerned because she needs medical attention.

Harris was last seen hitchhiking on Highway 97-A north of Armstrong on Thursday, Jan. 23. She Harris has relatives in Armstrong. She is known to travel between Kamloops and Armstrong.

Harris was wearing a bright orange coat, a burgundy dress and black shoes. She is 5’ 5” tall, 135 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who sees Harris is asked to call the nearest RCMP detachment.
