iN VIDEO: Driver dodges travelling porta-potty on Kamloops road
Dodging wildlife and the occasional pothole is something most drivers are used to, but a porta-potty would probably be a first for many people.
One driver in Kamloops had that experience yesterday at around 4:25 p.m. when a tall blue toilet travelled towards their vehicle.
Two videos posted to the Barnhartvale Facebook page show the portable toilet being pushed by the wind down Todd Road. In one, you can see the moment when the driver needs to evaluate what to do to avoid a messy situation.
Nicole Oliver, who took the videos, says the toilet belongs to BA Dawson Blacktop and they had placed it a few houses up from hers. The company hasn't yet confirmed that statement.
“When the wind picked up, my partner looked at me and he said did you put the anchors down on the trampoline and I said, ‘Oh, is it going to be that windy?’ And within minutes, the porta-potty went by,” Oliver says.
Oliver says the toilet travelled from Lamar Drive down Todd Road until it went out of sight.
