Vehicle smashes into Peachland A&W
Emergency responders are on scene this afternoon after a car smashed into an Okanagan A&W.
A tan-coloured car crashed into the front of the Peachland A&W at roughly 1 p.m. July 3.
"Everything is good, the building took the worst of it. The lady who ran into it, she was fine, (but the) windows were smashed. The dining room's going to be closed for another little while," Val Gliege, manager of the A&W, said.
The restaurant had just opened its dining room area two weeks ago.
West Kelowna RCMP officers were called at roughly 12:35 p.m. today after a vehicle struck the front of the business, said Kelowna RCMP media relations officer Jocelyn Noseworthy.
"No one was injured as a result of the collision. The female driver is on scene and cooperating with police," she said via email.
