iN VIDEO: Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds starts fundraising campaign supporting Great Bear Rainforest
Vancouver star Ryan Reynolds is supporting the West Coast's rainforest in a recent campaign called "Make Ryan Pay."
The Deadpool actor is matching donations up to $50,000 to non-profit Pacific Wild which focuses on the preservation of the Great Bear Rainforest.

As of July 4, the campaign has already reached 75 per cent of its goal, according to Pacific Wild's website. The campaign goes until B.C. Day, Aug. 3.
"This is to ensure the rainforest I grew up with as a kid will still be there," Reynolds said in the video. "If you hated one of my movies, this is your opportunity for revenge, make me pay for it."
