Central Kitchen + Bar in Kelowna reopens after major renovations

After undergoing some massive renovations, a popular Kelowna bar is back and open for business.

Central Kitchen + Bar announced its reopening via Facebook yesterday, July 8, and according to the bar's latest post, it boasts some delicious new additions to the menu.

"It's been a hell of year thus far but we made it! After four and a half months, our brand new space is open and we cannot wait to host you. Thank you to all of our friends, family, community, and partners, we couldn't have done it without you," reads a post on the bar's Facebook page.

The bar was ordered closed in March under the provincial health officer's order that all bars and restaurants must close with the exception of takeout and delivery amid the COVID-19 pandemic. As B.C. is now in its third stage of its economy restart plan, many businesses have reopened their doors.

The renovations include a newly expanded outdoor patio space, a feature wall, a revamped exterior and a new bar at 1115 Ellis St. in downtown Kelowna.
