B.C.’s police watchdog looking into Kelowna RCMP after death reported

B.C.’s police watchdog is currently conducting initial investigative steps to determine if police actions played any role in a death that may have involved police this weekend.

The Independent Investigations Office of B.C. opened a file for a death in Kelowna July 25. Who died, how and why has yet to be explained.

A spokesperson from the independent investigators said no information is being offered at this time and the Kelowna RCMP has yet to respond to questions.
