A Clinton woman is $50,000 richer after playing a scratch lottery game.
Sharon Holland was having a relaxing evening when she played the Super Crossword Scratch and Win, a hobby she has enjoyed for some time. According to a release from B.C. Lottery Corporation, she bought the scratch cards from Donex Pharmacy and Department Store in 100 Mile house, and apparently enjoys all kinds of crossword scratch tickets.
“When I realized I was a winner I was stunned at first and had to keep checking my ticket to make sure,” Holland says in a media release. “It makes it more special because I won on my son’s birthday.”
Holland plans to buy a few pieces of furniture with the win and will use the rest for her retirement.
