KAMLOOPS – The Kamloops Blazers have added 15-year-old forward Jake Kryski to the roster for two weekend games against the Kelowna Rockets. The Blazers play host to the Rockets Friday night and are in Kelowna on Saturday night.
Kryski was acquired by the Blazers in July 2013 from the Prince Albert Raiders in exchange for 20-year-old goaltender Cole Cheveldave. Kryski was the Raiders’ first round selection, 12th overall in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft.
The 5’11” and 170lb forward is playing this season with the Okanagan Rockets of the B.C. Major Midget League. In 28 games this season, he has 10 goals, 22 assists and 32 points.
The Vancouver native played his first two WHL games with the Blazers in Prince George on January 3rd and 4th and recorded two assists for the Blazers.
