RCMP looking for suspects in Blind Bay stabbing

Salmon Arm RCMP is investigating after a man bleeding from stab wounds showed up on the doorstep of a Blind Bay home asking for help last night.

Just before 10:40 p.m. on Aug. 16, RCMP officers and medical personnel responded to the call for assistance on Forest Drive in Blind Bay.

The 30-year-old victim from the Shuswap area was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A release from the RCMP states the investigation is still in the early stages, but it is believed the attack happened at a nearby car wash. Police believe three suspects may have been involved in the incident. The RCMP have reason to believe the attack was targeted and are asking for any witnesses to come forward.

If you have any information about the incident and haven't yet come forward, call the Salmon Arm RCMP General Investigation Section at 250-832-6044, or leave a tip anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
