RCMP looking for suspicious vehicle in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS – RCMP would like to talk to the man who was driving his truck around a Kamloops neighbourhood reportedly following some children.

Around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8, there was a report about a suspicious vehicle in Westsyde in the Sandpiper Drive area.

“It was reported a mid-1990s, red, Chevrolet truck with some silver on it was observed following some kids as they walked home from the park,” Cpl. Cheryl Bush says in a media release.

Bush says the driver is described as an older, bald, Caucasian man.

“Although there was no interaction between the children and the driver of the truck, police are looking to identify him and determine the nature of his actions,” Bush says.

If you have information about the pickup’s driver you can phone the Kamloops RCMP detachment at 250-828-3000 or you can remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
