OTTAWA — Tricia Smith was unanimously re-elected as president of the Canadian Olympic Committee on Sunday.
Smith, a four-time Olympian and Olympic rowing silver medallist, first took over the role in 2015.
She was re-elected to the International Olympic Committee in October.
Marie-Huguette Cormier, Hubert Lacroix, Jaquie Parchment and Saäd Rafi were re-elected to the COC board of directors, while Lara Mussell Savage and Tim Powers were newly elected.
Cormier, a two-time Olympic fencer, was appointed vice-president by the board.
The COC membership includes 97 voting members from national and multi-sport organizations, athletes, general members and other sport leaders.
