South Okanagan man dies after vehicle rolls

A 29-year-old Oliver man died after his vehicle rolled and he was ejected from it.

On Sept. 6, at 5:35 p.m., Osoyoos RCMP heard reports of a single vehicle rollover on McKinney Road in Oliver, according to the RCMP in a press release.

The driver was the only occupant in the vehicle and he was ejected when it lost control and rolled. The man's family was on scene shortly afterwards and gave CPR, as did first responders who arrived at the scene, but the man died, according to the RCMP.

Early indications are that speed may have been a factor in the crash.

The B.C. Coroners Service is also investigating the man’s death. His name will not be released.
