Shuswap man calls cops after mom throws action figures on the floor

A Shuswap man, who still lives with his mom and refuses to lift a finger, called RCMP last month after his mother threw his action figures on the floor.

The 20-year-old Eagle Bay Road man made the call to the Mounties, March 29, reporting that his mother had attacked him and broken his stuff.

When police arrived the 20-year-old said he had stomped his foot at his mom’s dog and she had retaliated by pushing him and then pushing his clothes and action figures onto the floor near the garbage bin, according to a Salmon Arm RCMP media release.

However, the very frustrated mother had a different story to tell.

The mother explained her son refused to get a job, refused to go to school and refused to do any chores in the house. She said he was just “freeloading” off her.

The mom said her dog had got out and her son had then tried to kick it.

It appears that was the last straw as she told him he had to finally move out.

It also worked.

Police say her son packed up his clothes and belongings, and was then picked up by his father and taken to Kamloops.

There is no mention of whether the son has finally started doing chores while at his dad’s.
