A man and a woman were taken to hospital after being rescued following a fall in Canyon Falls Park in Kelowna.
At approximately 12:15 p.m., 9-1-1 received a call reporting two people had fallen and needed assistance at the park in the city's Crawford area, according to a Kelowna Fire Department media release.
The technical rescue team was dispatched to the scene and two people, one man and one woman were rescued. The man was able to walk to the top of the canyon with assistance. while the woman was transported using a basket stretcher and wheel, the fire department said.
Both were then handed over to the waiting ambulance crews. They were then transported to Kelowna General Hospital for treatment.
