Kamloops woman scratched with a needle during a fight

A woman was taken to hospital after she was scratched with the needle on a syringe during a fight in Kamloops.

Officers were called to the fight between two women in the 400-block of Tranquille Road at around 12:20 p.m. Friday, May 2, according to an RCMP media release issued today, May 8.

During what RCMP called a consensual fight, one woman pulled out a syringe and scratched the other on the neck.

The victim declined further police involvement, RCMP said, and the suspect got away.
