iN VIDEO: Kamloops videographer captures waterfall at golden hour
Kamloops videographer Marshall Krasser had his camera ready at the perfect time while out exploring Wells Gray Provincial Park earlier this month.
There are several waterfalls to see in the park in Clearwater that attract thousands of visitors every year, and several photographs and videos of the wonders have been taken.
Krasser was there just as golden hour appeared, with the setting sun casting a serene orange glow that contrasts the energetic thundering of the powerful water.
The “golden hour” is the period when light is at its best for photography, either just after sunrise or just before sunset when the sun is low and casting warmer, softer looking light, according to Digital Camera World.
Wells Gray Park is a spectacular tourist destination with old-growth rainforest, lush alpine meadows and hiking trails, so you might want to add it to your summer bucket list.
