Majority of Proline bettors see Oilers forcing Stanley Cup final to seventh game

The majority of Proline bettors expect the Stanley Cup final to go the distance for a second straight year.

The Florida Panthers host the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday night leading the best-of-seven final three games to two. The Panthers won last year’s title, downing the Oilers in seven games.

Fifty-two per cent of Proline bettors have Edmonton winning the game, with 74 per cent of wagers on the contest going over 6.5 goals.

The most popular player prop get is Edmonton’s Leon Draisaitl over 3.5 shots on goal.

Florida moved to the brink of clinching its second straight NHL championship with a 5-2 victory Saturday night. A whopping 74 per cent of Proline players had the Oilers winning at home.

Fifty-one per cent correctly picked the game to go over 6.5 goals. Edmonton captain Connor McDavid scored as the McDavid over 0.5 goals was contest’s most popular player prop.

Meanwhile in the NBA, the Oklahoma City Thunder moved to within a game of their first league title with a 120-109 win over the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night. However, just 41 per cent of bettors correctly picked the Thunder to win the contest in Oklahoma City.

J.J, Spaun captured the U.S. Open on Sunday, the only player in the field to post a score under part in the event. A Proline bettor placed an $18 wager on Spaun to win, which netted the player a return of $2,268.

And in Montreal, George Russell won the Canadian Grand Prix. Proline bettors had Russell as third choice to emerge victorious behind Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen.

A Proline retail player earned $1,239 from a $2 wager on an eight-leg baseball parlay. Another received $1,168 from a $6 bet on an eight-leg soccer and baseball parlay.

And a third turned a $50 bet into a windfall of $8,958 with an 11-leg baseball parlay.
