Majority of Proline bettors backed Pacers upset NBA title win

The Thunder’s first-ever NBA championship since moving to Oklahoma City wasn’t a popular bet among Proline players.

Oklahoma City captured the league title Sunday night with a 103-91 win over the Indiana Pacers in the seventh and deciding game of the series. But according to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp., 64 per cent of players had the Pacers pulling off the upset while only 36 per cent of bets had the game going under 216.5 points.

Meanwhile in soccer, the FIFA club World Cup is underway with some Proline bettors faring well so far.

A $69 bet on Manchester City to beat Al Ain by an exact score of 6-0 returned $1,617 while a $65 wager on Red Bull Salzburg and Al-Hilal finishing tied 0-0 earned $1,490.

Another bettor won $2,267 from a $32 wager on Borussia Dortmund leading Mamelodi Sundown by an exact score of 3-1 after the first half.

In baseball, the Toronto Blue Jays earned a 7-1 home win over the Chicago White Sox on Saturday night. A whopping 80 per cent of wagers were on the Jays to win while 95 per cent were on them to win the game by two runs.

And on the PGA Tour, Keegan Bradley captured the Travelers Championship with a birdie on the 18th hole to earn a one-shot win over Tommy Fleetwood. A $20 bet on Bradley earned one Proline player a $700 return.

A Proline retail bettor received $2,009 from a $12 bet on a four-leg soccer parlay while another won $1,418 from a $5 wager on an eight-leg baseball parlay. And a third player wagered $99 on a three-pick tennis parlay that paid out $2,168.

A digital player earned $1,294 from a $10 bet on a nine-game baseball parlay.
