TRENDING NOW: Cougar stalks trail runner for six minutes in Utah
Kyle Burgess has seen all kinds of wildlife running the trails in Slate Canyon in Utah, but this face-to-face cougar encounter was one he likely has no desire to repeat.
For six long minutes Burgess seemed to do all the right things when a mother cougar stalked him along a trail near Provo.
A tossed rock was finally enough to convince the cougar he was no longer a threat and she took off back up the trail.
