Highway 97 in Kelowna closed after Mountie injured in crash

Part of the highway through downtown Kelowna is closed as police investigate a crash that sent an officer to the hospital.
The Mountie was involved in a collision at the intersection of Harvey Avenue and Bertram Street at 11:53 a.m. today, June 14, according to a press release from police.
The officer has non-life-threatening injuries.
Highway 97 southbound is closed between Richter Street and Ellis Street for an undetermined amount of time as police investigate the crash.
