Westsyde Pool closing for repairs
KAMLOOPS – Westsyde Pool will be closing until further notice because of moisture issues brought on by the thaw over the past couple weeks.
The pool will close as of 4 p.m. today, Friday, Feb. 13, so the interior cedar ceiling panels, which began to sag, can be removed and any damage assessed. While the panels are off the roof will also be assessed to see if any repairs are needed.
People registered for swim lessons will be contacted to discuss options and pass holders will be able to use them at the Canada Games Pool during the Westsyde Pool closure.
Updates on the closure can be found on the city website or by calling 250-828-3616 during business hours.
