Police looking for violent wanted man in Kamloops

Police are asking the public to keep a eye out for a violent wanted man who may be in Kamloops.

The Kamloops RCMP is looking for Childe Joseph Czernisz, who has an outstanding warrant from a serious incident in Kelowna, according to a release. He faces charges of assault and assault causing bodily harm. He has amassed nearly two dozen criminal cases in Revelstoke, Kelowna, Kamloops, Vancouver and Salmon Arm. 

He is known to frequent the Kamloops area.

Czernisz is described as a Caucasian male weighing 166 pounds and 5'9" tall. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone who sees Czernisz or knows of his whereabouts, is urged not to approach him and to call the Kamloops RCMP immediately.
