Vernon to host back-to-back expos for every generation
This week, Vernon is about to have two expos focused on completely different audiences from around the Okanagan.
The first is the Young at Heart Expo on Sept. 24 at the Prestige Vernon Lodge and Conference Centre. This event will focus on the seniors of the region, providing an exciting opportunity for them to focus on health, wellness, and creating community with like-minded individuals.
Vendors will be present to showcase their latest services and products, with a special focus on health-related items made with seniors in mind. Guests will find community resources, club invitations, and games to spark conversation and joy for the entire event. Prizes will be available throughout the day, which begins at 11 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. The event itself is free and welcomes walk-ins, but registering here is also available.
The second expo of the week focuses on young professionals across the Okanagan. The Vernon Career and Education Expo is also located at the Prestige Vernon Lodge and Conference Centre, but it will take place on September 25th. This event is free for attendees, but registration is required. That can be done here.
Join fellow professionals looking for career opportunities and educational resources from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.. This is a perfect opportunity for locals to connect with recruiters and professionals in their dream line of work.
