
Coquihalla to be hit by winter storm
Environment Canada is forecasting a winter storm for the Coquihalla Highway, from Hope to Merritt.
The national weather agency is predicting 25 to 35 centimetres of snow from tonight, Nov. 14, through Sunday evening.
"The next Pacific storm will bring heavy snow to the Coquihalla Highway – Hope to Merritt beginning this evening. Snow will continue through Sunday evening, according to Environment Canada.
"Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions."
