Domino’s Pizza employee in Kamloops tests positive for COVID-19

An employee at a Domino's Pizza in Kamloops has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now in self-isolation.

A team member at the store located on the Trans-Canada Highway in Valleyview indicated they tested positive for COVID-19, Domino's spokesperson Jeff Kacmarek confirmed in an email today, Nov. 16.

This prompted the store to shut its doors and conduct a thorough sanitization. It has since reopened for business.

"The team member has not worked in the store in five days," Kacmarek said. "The store followed all requirements set by the Interior Health Authority before re-opening to once again serve the community."

Kacmarek would not confirm the exact date of the positive test or when the Domino's restaurant was temporarily closed.
