The deadline for submissions to the District of West Kelowna’s market sounding exercise regarding the development of a new West Kelowna Municipal Office/Civic Centre is this Friday, May 3, 2013.
The District of West Kelowna, through a consultant, is calling on all interested parties to take part in a market sounding, intended to determine the market place interest, and explore potential partnerships, in the development of a municipal hall/civic centre in an open and non-binding manner.
The current West Kelowna Municipal Hall is close to operational capacity and West Kelowna Council is prepared to consider a variety of options for providing Municipal Offices/Civic Centre including, but not limited to, developing a new multipurpose civic centre, developing a new civic centre as a stand-alone facility, or partnering with a developer to develop a mixed use development.
