MEGAbike Rolls Through Kelowna for Youth Mentorship

On Sept. 25, the not-for-profit organization Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada hosted their first MEGAbike fundraiser ride in Kelowna.

Sponsors met at City Park to find the astonishing sight of a gigantic, twenty-nine-seater teal bike where each of their team members needed to work together to make their trip through downtown a success. The funds raised directly support youth mentorship in our communities and had the added benefit of providing a unique opportunity for team building in local businesses who sponsored the event.

Events like this hosted through the Okanagan by Big Brothers Big Sisters help them raise the necessary funds to support one-on-one mentorship programs for at-risk children, school-based opportunities for youth to build confidence, and empowering activities for kids to realize their full potential.

Just some of the incredible, local sponsors for this event included Crowe MacKay LLP and TD Bank.
