
Kamloops flight flagged for COVID-19 exposure
Another flight to Kamloops had a passenger aboard with a confirmed case COVID-19, meaning those seated nearby will have to self monitor for symptoms for the next two weeks.
There was a potential exposure on WestJet 3111, flying from Calgary to Kamloops on Nov. 15, the B.C. Centre for Disease Control reported.
The rows affected are 12 to 18.
If you are a close contact of a confirmed COVID-19 case, Public Health contacts you directly to let you know. In cases where not everyone can be reached, regional health authorities post public exposure information online, according to the centre.
Passengers on a domestic flight with a COVID-19 case should self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days.
British Columbians have been advised to minimize travel within the province or outside of the province because of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the centre.
