Get ready for Halloween with these spooky events in the Thompson-Okanagan region this weekend.
KELOWNA
- Halloween Movie Night in the Vines – Spend a spooky evening under the stars from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Priest Creek Winery to watch Twilight with the whole family. Tickets are $12 each.
- “The Vixens” Murder Mystery Cabaret – On Oct. 17, stop by The Vibrant Vine for a fun evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $27 each.
- Nightmare at Hillcrest – Check out this haunted house ready for the whole family at the
Hillcrest Bed & Breakfast on Oct. 17, 18, and 19 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $15 each. - Movies Under the Stars – Watch Practical Magic at Grizzli Winery on Oct. 17 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $10-$15 each.
- Disney Villains Drag Brunch – Stop by Friends of Dorothy on Oct. 19, starting at 11:30 a.m. for a morning of fun and music for $10 per person.
VERNON
- Labyrinth – Head to Caravan Farm Theatre from Oct. 15 to 30 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. for an immersive performance. It’s not recommended for children. Tickets are $47 each.
- Five Alarm Funk – Experience a sonic and visual event on Oct. 17 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Vernon & District Performing Arts Centre. Tickets are $42 each.
- Saturday Baking – Head to Nickoli Orchard Farmstand on Oct. 18 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for a sweet surprise.
- The Strange Bazaar: Dark Harvest – This spooky market is taking place at Caetani Centre from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m on Oct. 18. Admission is free.
- Zombie Walk – The Schubert Centre is hosting their first spine-chilling Zombie Walk on Oct. 18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It requires a minimum $5 donation.
PENTICTON
- Trick or Treat Wine Pairing – On Oct. 17, 18, and 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Three Sisters Winery, you can try five wickedly good wines. Tickets are $8 each.
- Penti-Con – Dress up and have fun on Oct. 18 and 19 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre. Tickets range from $16 to $39.
- The Apple Bin Corn Maze – Get lost and find your Halloween spirit at 9th Ave, Okanagan Falls on Oct. 18 and 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 each.
- Succulent Pumpkin Centerpiece Workshop – Create the perfect centerpiece for your autumn gatherings at Sahara Garden Art Co. on Oct. 18, starting at 1 p.m. Tickets are $50 each.
- Fall Market – Drink and shop on Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Howling Bluff Winery. Entry is free.
KAMLOOPS
- Pete Murray’s Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze – Until the end of Oct., stop by Pete Murray’s Corn Farm from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for their pumpkin patch and corn maze. Entry is free.
- 12th Annual Kamloops Timeraiser – Bid on local art pieces at this community-focused event on Oct. 17, starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 each.
- Luminocity – Visit Riverside Park every evening from Oct. 18 to 25 for a free art exhibit.
- Fall Home Show & Artisan Market – You can expect an artisan market, local exhibits, and more at this event at Sandman Centre on Oct. 18 and 19 at varying times. Admission is free.
- Haunted Homecoming Youth Dance – Kamloops Pride is hosting a fun, spooky evening at Kelson Hall on Oct. 18 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Entry is by donation.
